Mercy Ships New Zealand
Mercy Ships New Zealand is registered as a charitable entity under the Charities Act 2005 on 30 June 2008 (CC26854) and governed by the New Zealand Board. The New Zealand office, based in Penrose, Auckland, is part of a global network of offices whose mission is to promote the work of Mercy Ships. Mercy Ships New Zealand is focussed on three main areas.
Communications
We are committed to making Mercy Ships a household name in the nation through media, speaking engagements to interested groups, and other opportunities as they are presented.
Fundraising
We are dedicated to raising financial resources for the operation of the ship and its programmes. The NZ office is directly responsible to select the projects which will be supported by NZ funds unless the money is otherwise designated.
Recruitment
We help in the recruitment of New Zealanders interested in serving with Mercy Ships, on board the Africa Mercy, in our international offices, as well as in public relations roles here in New Zealand.
